FUNNY GIRLS
By Jennifer Childs
Musical Director: Owen Robbins
In this fast-paced solo performance, Childs celebrates the revolutionary women who transformed American comedy. With fearless wit and remarkable physical precision, she channels a gallery of legendary performers, bringing to life the comedic styles of icons such as Fanny Brice, Mae West, Phyllis Diller, Joan Rivers, Gilda Radner and others who helped redefine what women could do on stage and screen.
Following the success of last season’s blockbuster cabaret No Regrets: An Evening with Edith Piaf, which first introduced Club Clemans to Cape May audiences, Funny Girls continues that tradition — presented in the theater’s intimate cabaret setting, with musical direction by Owen Robbins.
Content Note:
This play contains adult language and mature themes.
Tickets: $40 General Admission, $35 Seniors

Cape May Stage: Kalamazoo
- Location: Cape May Stage - 405 Lafayette Street
- Starts: 8:00 pm
When two cautious strangers meet later in life, polite conversation quickly takes flight — sparked by sharp wit, surprising confessions, and a shared love of birds. Witty and uplifting, Kalamazoo is a sophisticated romantic comedy about second chances, unexpected connection, and the courage to spread your wings at any age.
