The 7 Mile Island (Avalon & Stone Harbor, New Jersey) is home to many vacation rentals. Inividuals, families, and freinds love traveling to the Jersey Shore for "beach week" in the summer season. With beautiful weather from June-Sepetember, our pristine beaches are a popular spot to relax and unwind away from home.

Finding a place to stay in Avalon or Stone Harbor is an easy process. You will find a plethora of options with our rental search. All the Avalon NJ Rentals are unique in different ways. Below we will go over a few features/amenities that separate properties from eachtoher. The cost of renting a beach home will vary based on these different options.

Proximity To The Beach

The ultimate convenience is staying within a close proximity to the beach or a beach path. This will allow you to park your car at a rental property, and walk to the beach. You will easily be able to walk on and off the becah at your preference, not worrying about finding parking or lugging beach equipment in and out of a car. Unfortunately, this type of convenience has a price. The closer a rental property is to the beach, the higher the weekly rental rate will be. Beach block rental properties or oceanfront rentals in Avalon NJ are more difficult to find as they are always in high demand.

Quality Of The Rental Home

Location of a Avalon NJ rental home is a major factor that influences the rental rate. Another differentiator in pricing is the homes quality, finishes, and furnishings. The rule of thumb is - the nicer and more recently renovated homes will have a higher rate than those homes that are not updated. If you are looking for a high-end home, the weekly rate in our prime season will be anywhere from 15k-25k per week. On the other hand, older homes/units will be more affordable for those who are looking to spend a lot of time at the beach, rather than being entertained in the rental home. The size, in terms amount of bedrooms, baths, and total amount of sq ft will also dictate the rental rate of Avalon NJ Rentals. Rentals in Avalon NJ can range from having 1 bedroom all the way to 6/7 bedrooms. Typically newer homes will be larger than older builds. We reccomend you spend some time exploring different options regarding quality and size of rentals in Avalon NJ. The price will vary more thank you would initally think!

The Week You Are Renting

The rates of our rental homes change based on which week is being rented. The rate for rental homes are lower in June and September. The “prime weeks” are in July and August, when all the children are out of school on summer break. If you are someone who wants to vacation in a more low-key setting, you will save money renting outside of the prime weeks. Many people enjoy the busy atmosphere where our town and beach is exceptionally active.

Included Amenities 

There are certain amenities in a home that will bump the rental rate higher. For example, the homes with a pool will have a higher rate than those which do not. Renting a home with a pool is a great idea because it provides easy entertainment and relaxation away from the beach. The ocean water is not for everyone - but getting in a pool at your own privacy is easy! Pools are always a popular requested amenity. Another example is an elevator. The three story homes that include an elevator will warrant a higher rate. This is ideal for those families that have an older or handicap individual staying with them. Other amenities that influence price could include high-end outdoor furniture, a linen & towel service, beach equipment, or bikes. Each property on our rental search accurately lists the amenities.
