Stone Harbor Island Holiday Weekend
Stone Harbor’s Island Holiday Weekend in 2026 is scheduled for November 27–28, 2026, offering a "Coastal Christmas" experience featuring a holiday market, the annual Christmas Parade on 96th Street, a Pet Parade, and the town Tree Lighting. There’s more fun in store in Avalon on Saturday! Snowfest Saturday is a free family fun event with bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, trampolines, a rock wall, ice sculpting and carnival rides.
Santa will be in his sleigh at 21st & Dune Drive for family photos, but you must get in line by 3:30pm. There will also be Holiday Performances throughout the day, sponsored by the Avalon Free Public Library.
Santa's Tree Lighting Celebration at the Zoo

The Cape May County Park and Zoo and the Cape May County Board of County Commissioners are welcoming families and residents to Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November 28th, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. The Ceremony and Lighting of the Tree will be at 5:00 P.M. The Zoo will have regular hours and be open 10 am - 3:30 pm.
The celebration will include live holiday music, bounce houses, a Wild Lights walk-through display, character appearances, an ice sculpture demonstration, treats for all, and a visit by the jolly man himself in the red suit. Vendors with collectibles and crafts for sale, including unique art created by the zoo animals from the Cape May County Association of Zoo Keepers.
